1. Terms of Service

Our website and products are governed by certain terms of service. By using our website or products you are agreeing to our End-User Licence Agreement and our Privacy Policy. Both these policies may be updated from time to time.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting your data. As part of that commitment we aim to ensure full transparency of our data handling practices and of the ways in which you can control your information. In our Privacy Policy we explain how your personal data is collected, held and managed both on our website and in our products. Our Cookies Policy is included as part of this section.

End-User Licence Agreement

The End-User Licence Agreement details the terms of use that each and every user must abide by in order to use the Dubler software and our web services.

2. Our Online Shop

Our store is located at www.vochlea.co.uk and hosted by Shopify Inc. Shopify provides the underlying e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Please be aware that Third Party Sales Locations such as Shopify may be governed by additional terms of use agreements.

Fees, Payment and Purchases

The Vochlea Shop will calculate the combined price for the product(s) you are purchasing and the associated delivery in GBP (£). If your local currency is not GBP then the exchange rate applied is controlled and governed by your payment processor not Vochlea Music.

Please note:

  • For purchases from inside the EU: the necessary VAT is already included in the purchase price.
  • For purchases from outside of the EU: additional local taxes may still apply and be charged on delivery. Payment of these taxes is solely your responsibility and are not included in the original purchase price.
  • To use the Dubler Studio Kit you need to agree to the End-User Licence Agreement (EULA) for the Dubler software. You can read the EULA in advance of a purchase here.

The Vochlea Shop currently accepts many major credit cards, including Visa and Mastercard. We also support PayPal.

Prices for our products are subject to change and we reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue our products and services without notice.


3. Shipping

If you are ordering to the United Kingdom your purchase will be sent via Royal Mail using their tracked 48-hour courier service. The dispatch date is typically same day or next working day.

For orders placed outside of the U.K. we ship by international courier. Delivery times vary depending on geography. Typically, deliveries to Europe take 5-7 days and 7-10 days to the U.S.

All orders (both domestic and international) are issued with tracking numbers so you can monitor the progress of your item.

Please note for purchases from outside of the EU: additional local taxes may still apply and be charged on delivery.

We currently ship to the following countries:

  • United Kingdom
  • EEC Countries (Countries in the European Economic Area)
  • United States of America
  • Canada
  • Australia
  • New Zealand

Please note that the current outbreak of Covid-19 has the potential to impact delivery services. Postal service disruption varies by country. We are currently processing shipments as normal, however a few select countries have placed restrictions on incoming goods. If in doubt please get in touch. All our shipments include a delivery tracking number.


4. Return of faulty items

Having problems with your Dubler Microphone?

In most cases it’s likely that settings in your operating system or DAW are preventing the microphone from working to its full potential. The first thing to do is contact support at help@vochlea.co.uk so we can help check the origin of the issue.

If it turns out the problem is being caused by a faulty microphone Vochlea Music will either repair or replace, at its discretion, products showing factory defects during the warranty period. The warranty period for the Dubler microphone is 12 months from receipt of goods and is subject to the following conditions:

  • This warranty applies only to a new product sold through an authorised channel.
  • Any attempt to repair, service, or alter the product in any way voids this warranty.
  • This warranty does not apply in the event of accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, unauthorised repair, tampering, modification, or damage from other external sources.
  • This warranty does not extend to any other equipment to which this product may be attached or connected.

To return a faulty microphone follow these steps:

  1. Email help@vochlea.co.uk to confirm the issue and arrange a repair or replacement.
  2. Package up the microphone, ideally in the original box. Include the USB cable and a slip of paper with the registered product email address.
  3. Due to the current outbreak of Covid-19 please ask at help@vochlea.co.uk for the most up-to-date return address.
  4. Send the faulty goods to our return address including your name on the box.
  5. Delivery must be pre-paid by the returning customer and on receipt of the faulty goods will be reimbursed.
  6. We send you a replacement 😀

5. Refunds

For purchases made through the Vochlea online store

If you’re unhappy with the Dubler Studio Kit you are entitled to a full refund provided that the following criteria are met:

  • You notify us of your refund request within 14 days of receiving the item.
  • Returns are received within 14 days of the return confirmation.
  • The goods to be returned must be received in the same condition as they were sent out.

To request a refund please follow these steps:

  1. Complete this form within 14 days of receiving the product. Requests made after this date cannot be honoured.
  2. We're here to help! If you're dissatisfied with the product we'll gladly offer one-on-one support to try and improve your experience. This is optional but should you choose to accept our help, and still find you are not satisfied with the product, it won’t affect your right to return. We will continue to proceed with the refund as requested.
  3. Package up the microphone in the original box. Include the USB cable and a slip of paper with the email address the product is registered to. To qualify for a refund the item needs to be returned to us in 'as-new' condition.
  4. Send the goods to our returns address. (Due to the current outbreak of Covid-19 you’ll be updated over email with the appropriate address once you have completed the returns form). Please remember to include your name on the box.
  5. Delivery must be paid for by the returning customer. To qualify for a refund the item should be received within 14 days of the request. (We appreciate that some postal services are experiencing delays due to Covid-19, so please keep a copy of your proof of postage so we can accommodate this).
  6. Once the product is received and tested we will issue a full refund for the original transaction (item + shipping). Return shipping will not be reimbursed.
